Open & Utility Obedience group class Tuesday must have a minimum of 3 student to hold this group class other wise it is done by private lesson.
Open Obedience
Open is designed for the dog and handler who want to train for competitive obedience at the Open level. Exercises are a combination of repeated skills learned at the Novice level such as off leash heeling and new, progressively difficult exercises including retrieving a dumbbell, the high and broad jumps, drop on recall and position changes from a stand to a down to a sit and a stand stay get your leash, a dumbbell sized appropriately for the dog's bite is required.

Utility Obedience
Utility is designed for the dog and handler who want to train for competitive obedience at the Utility level. Exercises are a combination of repeated skills learned at the Open level and new, progressively difficult exercises including hand signals, articles, gloves, the high and bar jumps. Required equipment includes a flat buckle nylon or leather collar or a positive control collar, a 4-foot nylon or leather leash and a articles and gloves sized appropriately for the dog's bite.
